I badly NEED Photoshop. (Not for this but for a project though.) ...make that, "my own laptop with Photoshop installed on it properly and with enough disk space."

They're all cropped from the same picture, each cut has different shades. Done using Microsoft Office Picture Manager, because it's the only editor available here. Not exactly very effective, but oh well. Here you go:

At your service

Concrete angel

Fly away

Faded memory

Washed away

Feel free to use / modify if you like.

Xposted only in yuyuhakusho, since it's not exactly a yyh_icons material DX

I really didn't realize until I'm on Ep13 of Tora Dora (I'm watching it on Youtube) that the volume has been muted since I opened the laptop... I'm so used to the absence of sound that I didn't notice. Like when I lipread... I don't realize I'm doing it--not paying attention to the sounds. Subs are my saviour. Without it, I don't understand anything. Even on full volume. Stupid. >.<

WOT. New fandom?? :))

I'm still not done with my old-school animes that I don't watch/read new ones. So my type of anime/manga still ranges from: Akazukin Chacha, Yu Yu Hakusho, Saber Marionette J, Detective Conan, and the likes. So few and so old-school. Haha. I think it has something to do with the pace of the story... I'm used to fast-paced / suspense / adventure types of anime and not the real-life-like ones (I'm so bad at terminologies. Sue me. XD) that I rarely find a new anime/manga to add to my list. :3

So... I'm surprised myself that I'm reading the manga and watching Tora Dora! online, and thinking of buying a gashapon set... and already thinking of her as my next cosplay character. *glares at Taiga's short skirt* ...Maybe. Haha.

The first one is a fanart made by Nuriko-kun. The second one, idk the artist, I copied it from Ysabel's journal.

As you may all know already, typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng dealt massive damage to the Philippines. A lot of people died, lost their homes and all properties to the flood. The damage on agriculture and infrastructure is depressing. It will most likely take a really long time before the country recovers, and the Philippines needs all the prayers and help people can give.

When I first heard how high the flood was on other places, one of my first reactions was, "The Philippines isn't ready for this." Well, no one could really have prepared for something as awful as this, but there is underlying strength in everyone that resurfaced in the midst of this calamity. I salute all those who did what they could to help the people affected by the typhoon, and those who were affected but are keeping their faith and doing all their best to survive this all.

Okay, enough rambling.. I can't really think straight or organize my thoughts in my current state, sorry. I'll be okay soon, I swear.

ahm, and about the title of this post, I just wanted to share something that I found online today:

Walang Itak, Pakpak, o Kapa (No Sword, No Wings or Cape)

( A salute to all the unsung heroes during the ravage of typhoon Ondoy and Pepeng. Sometimes we don't need a sword, wings or cape to be a hero or an angel to those who need help. )

I'm sure that there are many others like this, but I'm not updated [in Multiply and DA] nowadays, so there's just one here.

Been wondering how I'm going to upload my drawings to my DA account. {The scanner's in my mom's office where it's more needed, and it's unlikely I'll get near it anytime soon.} I've recently got back to drawing because I  missed it! It was my number one hobby back when I had the time. Since last month I've accumulated lots of simple sketches and fan arts. But I'm taking it slowly. I only draw when I'm really inspired, and when I'm sure I have enough time to finish it.

My sketchpad's almost full. I have a Hiei. Oh wee. Lots of Botan. And a Keiko, which surprised me. I have a Misa Amane fanart as well. Some Kingdom Hearts. Lots of Ariel (Little Mermaid). I saw some of my old works, and I'm surprised that a Sailor Mars fanart is still intact. But because most of my drawings then were snagged by/given to friends, there's just a few left. I want to upload them all. <3

This morning, after my night shift duty, I went to Divi with Pen and Mitchi looking for materials for Genkai and Yukina. Tiring but okay. I hope we finish all costumes this month. I'm trying to fous on Yukina and Ayame's kimono, but during this week there hasn't been any real progress. Too much overtime work, and I'm really distracted on some other problem. Worrying about Tuesday. It's probably nothing. I hope it's nothing. And that it won't ruin my plans for November, because I've been looking forward to it since last year. :/
